In a freak accident, a 30-year-old man died after being hit on the head with a boat at an amusement park. The incident took place in Jharkhand’s East Singhbhum district. The victim has been identified as Johny Quwait.

The police said Quwait had visited the park on Tuesday. As he stepped into the poll a sliding boat hit him on the head. He was rushed to a hospital but the doctors declared him dead.

Quwait was a resident of Bagunhatu area of Jamshedpur and had gone to the water park with friends.

The local administration said the amusement park was over-crowded and crowd management was missing. The waterpark has been sealed.

An officer said when asked the authorities of the water park couldn’t even share permission documents.
